Laura’s goal as a Nurse Practitioner, is to assist clients and their families in achieving their maximum health potential. “As a primary care provider, I value a holistic approach grounded in evidence-based care that addresses not only ailments, but promotes wellness through healthy eating habits, increased activity, and reduction of stress. I value treating the patient as a whole; physical, emotional, environmental, societal, and familial.” Her philosophy of care all stems from meeting people where they are. “It is my job to help patients create, achieve, and maintain their wellness goals. I work alongside my patients and offer encouragement and suggestions, but understand that everyone has different wants and needs in regards to managing their health. I focus on discussing options with patients and letting them decide which plan of care best meets their needs. I love the relationships and trust I have built with my patients and their families and have learned that this famous Theodore Roosevelt quote rings true; ‘nobody cares how much you know until they know how much you care.’ It is my goal to make patients feel as safe and secure as possible while under my care.”
Laura Terrell is not new to Indiana. She was born and raised in Benton County and still resides there with her 3 children, husband, and dog. “I love being outside in the summer (kayaking, gardening, yard work) and during the cold months I enjoy crafting (crochet, sewing, upcycling furniture, baking, etc).”
