“My philosophy of care is centered on three things: relationships, education, and prevention. I aim to build trusting relationships based on open communication and respect. Through these relationships, it is my goal to empower my patients with the information and knowledge they need, by being both a practitioner and a teacher. My hope is that people can make informed healthcare decisions for both themselves and their families, by being equipped with the most up to date treatments and resources available. Finally, I emphasize the importance of prevention with my patients, by following recommended screening guidelines, reducing risk factors for diseases, and implementing realistic lifestyle modifications unique to each patient. It is my honor and privilege to care for people across the lifespan in rural communities and to help make their wellness goals a reality.”
Originally from Indiana, Megan met her Purdue Boilermaker sweetheart while in college and subsequently crossed state lines to live with her now husband on the 167-year-old family farm. Megan and her husband attend Gilman United Methodist Church, are avid Purdue basketball fans, and spend their time volunteering with their local FFA chapter. In her free time, you can catch Megan tending to her flowers, stirring something up in the kitchen, or searching for her next flea market-find.
