Donna Price, RN, began her career at IMH over 25 years ago. She started in 1992, as a registered nurse working on floor with Mary Cahoe, RN, as her supervisor.

Donna says, “It’s the people that drew me to IMH. As a brand-new nurse, I never wanted to work anywhere else. I did my clinicals at other hospitals, and there was no feeling of family like we have at IMH.”

According to Donna working at IMH has been “memorable and fulfilling”. She says, “I learned something new everyday, that’s something that is almost unheard of when you’ve worked somewhere your whole life.”

At her surprise retirement party, Donna reminisced with co-workers. She said, “I’ve seen so many lives saved by IMH. I will definitely remember my co-workers and the patients.”

As she enjoyed her time with co-workers and friends, there were many discussions of continuing to see her face around the hospital as a volunteer!
