Iroquois Memorial Hospital would not be successful without the support of our incredible staff. Some members stand out as Superstars!
Each week, we will be featuring a new Superstar staff member to highlight their outstanding commitment and dedication to IMH and the patients we serve.
This week’s featured employee is Diane Gagnon. Diane has been a member of the IMH family for 29 years. When she began her career at IMH in 1988, she worked at the switchboard on the midnight shift. She was often the first point of contact for patients, if they called the hospital or had to make a late night visit to the Emergency Room. After only one year working at the switchboard, she transferred to Human Resources. Now, she is often one of the first points of contact for a new employee, instead of patients.
When she is not helping employees with their Human Resource needs, Diane enjoys reading, shopping, and researching genealogy. In December, she and her husband, John, will be celebrating their 50th Wedding Anniversary! Together, they enjoy spending time with their 2 children and 3 grandchildren.
Diane is known throughout IMH as the person with the answers. Employees know, if they have any questions about insurance, pay periods, or other HR issues, Diane can usually point them in the right direction. As of December 1st, it is with congratulations that we have the privilege of wishing Diane a Happy Retirement!!
When asked about her position at IMH, Diane said, “I love my job and getting to know new employees. I also enjoy helping them with their questions and making IMH the place where people enjoy working.”
Thank you Diane for your outstanding service. You are a true Superstar in Healthcare!
