Iroquois Memorial Hospital would not be successful without the support of our incredible staff. Some members stand out as Superstars!
Each week, we will be featuring a new Superstar staff member to highlight their outstanding commitment and dedication to IMH and the patients we serve.
This week’s featured employee is Chrissy Haag, RN, MSN. Chrissy has been a member of the IMH family for 5 years. She began her journey as a nurse on the floor. During her time as a nurse at IMH, Chrissy returned to school and earned her Masters of Nursing Education from Chamberlain College of Nursing. After completing her Masters, Chrissy transitioned to the Clinical Informatics, a position that did not exist when she began in 2012.
In her position, Chrissy manages and communicates data and information to consumers, nurses, patients, and health care providers. She often is the front line liaison between nurses and the information technology department. When Chrissy is not using her nursing background to relate IT information, she enjoys relaxing at home with her husband, son, and their new puppy.
She has said that she enjoys working at IMH because it is a close knit community and her co-workers are like family. When asked about her position she said, “I love being able to help people and sharing my knowledge to improve the workflows, so that staff can better care for our patients.”
Thank you Chrissy for your outstanding service. You are a true Superstar in Healthcare!
